What? this entire article is arguing two different approaches to clearing slums. Not whether they are good or not.

Had a blitz look though the link, Keith.The link is based on a personal experience.IMO,slums can never do any good to any cities.They should be replaced by permanent residentials instead of make shift ones.Life of the people would be miserable over there no matter what the media says.Most of the time they become the crime centre of cities.
