  • For the men, its a power and control thing. For the women (or girls since alot of them are so young when they get married off) its being brainwashed. Alot of them segregate themselves from society so they don't have any idea of what the real world is about.
  • If you or your husband BOTH couldn't cook?
  • First is their religion and probably their need to have many loved ones around them!
  • Hey don't knock it, I think I could easily handle having a few husbands. They can all work to support me!
  • It's natural for some people to have multiple spouses; they are born to be polygamous.
  • Belief system. Man likes variety in sex. Women want help with raising children and household chores. +4
  • If there were a chance to have more than on Chubby Hubby in my house I think I would pass and wonder why anyone gave me the opportunity to have more than one man to deal with. LOL But seriously: I concur with Shemarq, the men have the status and it is an archaic system that really does nothing for WOMEN except enslave (for lack of a better word) them.
  • I don't know. I think that one wife is enough for me.
  • Brainwashed into it.
  • Brainwashing?
  • There's plenty. . The more people involved in a household, the greater delegation of responsibility, allowing for each member to have fewer responsibilities and the household can still achieve what it needs to exist. Pooling capital amongst multiple people also has great benefits. . Sexually, having multiple partners can be highly beneficial, as it can strengthen trust within the relationship, as all partners are fully aware of each others' sexual activity. It can be highly satisfying to have another man to have sex with or have another person around to help with chores, etc. . I think the ideas that "they're brainwashed" is just ridiculous; I think it's those people who are brainwashed into thinking that anyone who chooses to not be monogamous is delusional or insane or mentally corrupt. . That kind of mentality is real dangerous.
