  • Typically I swallow a lot because I prefer not to vomit. I don't know why it is because when its actually taking place its not that bad.
  • Try to calm your stomache down. It usually doesn't work for me though. Just find a safe place to throw up until the sickness passes.
  • I usually take a few deep breaths if I can, and maybe eat a cracker if I think I can bear it. If I feel like I am going to throw up right now if I move, I will probably try to lie down or in a position that feels comfortable and try not to move. Otherwise, I try to just let it happen if I am in an okay spot. I usually feel much better afterward.

  • Personally, I look at it like if you need to throw up, you should probably throw up.. Otherwise, then there is just throw up in your body.. And that's not fun. But if you really really don't want to hurl, then I would sip on some water or 7up.

  • Actually, as much as I hate it, I find it is better to go ahead and get it over with. I usually feel better afterward.
  • If it is from drinking too much alcohol then I lay down on my bed and put my hand on the floor. It stops the head spins and next thing I know it is the next day. I’ve only threw up once from drinking and hardly ever from the flu or bad food.
