The old three-sicklys are totally pathetic by today's standards. There was no real standard amount of memory, though 256KB was fairly common and few held the maximum of 8MB. Their "washing machine" hard drives held less than 30MB total, though there was a Rube Goldberg contraption that could hold 400MB. The average MP3 player and many pocket calculators of today have more processing power and storage than a 3-sickly could ever dream of.
