    Gas stoves heat faster with a consistent heat and the burners stop heating as soon as you turn the flame off. I have a gas stove. However, if you have a fear of gas or open flames then electric is for you.

    Gas most definitely. more control. An electric stove takes time to heat up and cool off,this is a big problem when trying to saute'.
