    Just having detailed & precise ID is neither good nor bad ... it depends on the use ... having the ID and the info can be misused for very bad purposes ... or it can be wisely used very well for very good purposes ... I feel it is better to have it than not ... but it must be carefully protected from potential misuse so the BAD aspects are avoided.
