No. Unthinking, uncaring, but not unAmerican. Freedom of speech is central to American philosophy (or used to be, anyway) and they are just exercising that freedom. I may disagree with them - but they have the right to freedom of speech. Which does not mean they have the right to outright lies, which a few have resorted to.

That's a distortion of what they said. They called those trying to disrupt meetings and shout down discussion of healthcare reform. Hoyer actually said,"Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American. Drowning out the facts is how we failed at this task for decades." Since they are using tactics out of the Nazi Brownshirt movement's playbook, I totally agree. That behavior has no place in a democracy. The same was true when left-wingers tried to use vocal protests to stifle debates about the Vietnam War.

No, one thing about Dem if you don't agree with them your against them...Nancy is a space cadet asshole, this healthcare they are pushing will bankrupt our system, less than mimmial care we will have... I am telling you it sucks..
