Depends on your definition of love. I think true love is based a lot on trust, and so if there was no trust, then there was no love.

I believe probably not, because if they truly love you, they would not harbor suspicion, because true love means that partners can trust one another unconditionally.

I would say they did not TRUST me, versus love me. They might have loved me, (although tough to do without alot of trust also) but they definitely did not trust me.
