i think they would,i love to put knifes up to people who brake in. they will have a new scare from there head to there toe, fun for me but a big OUCH to them. (GRINS)

Im not scary but i do think im intimidating for as young as I am. I would hope they would think twice, but im constantly paranoid so I'd be ready pronto!

I try to lure them in by making it look like my place is unattended. Some day I hope to live out my ultimate fantasy of getting to shoot someone for entering my property.

unless they have a gun. because if they break into my home and my husband or i catch them they are going to get an ass kickin of a life time with my metal bat i keep by my bed

Yes, but if a burglar is there, then he's there and we have no choice but to use self-defense to protect our selves and our families.

For a couple of reasons...the first is that my stuff isn't really worth stealing; I don't have jewelry or anything else of value and the most extravagent piece of electronic equipment I own is my xBox 360. The second is that I keep a bat right underneath my bed and, while I am a pacifist, I have a really strong survival instinct and I don't know if the burglar would walk away from a groggy, melee bat attack.
