Yes I did. My parents are both very short and I am not and I thought I might be adopted. When I got a little older I hoped I was adopted. Now, I look so much like my dad and brother there can be no doubt as to who my parents are. I happy about it now that I'm grown and have a child of my own.

My sister used to tell me I was all the time. When I asked my mum she assured me I wasn't, she said I was the window cleaner's. (She was only joking)

Yeah, I used to think it all the time, so did my sister (although she did not use this to tease or hurt me) Or switched in hospital, mostly because the story of my birth shortened was my mother was put to sleep for my birth and when she awoke she was told she had a boy (I am a girl) and the nurse "corrected" herself when my mom started to cry because she wanted a girl.

Yeah all the time. Both of my parents have blue eyes and I have hazel, they both have straight hair and I have curly, and they both were tall, I'm only 5'7. I just never looked like either of them.

No, but I wanted to be. and my brother used to tell me all the time that they found me on the side of the road in a garbage can and that's why I smelled so bad.

I don't think many children have ever not considered they might be adopted. I know I did. I look just like my sister (one year younger)- and we look more like eachother than our parents. we did assume that perhaps we both were sisters to eachother and adopted from the same family. Thing is though, we realised, I have my mum's nose and she has my dad's nose. I guess the thing is my mum is a bit *whispers*... well fatter, my dad is a thin bean pole- we just came out... normal...? XD But yeah turned out we weren't...

yeah, i had older brothers that tried to convince me, but as i got older and people would constantly comment on how we all look alike, i started to come around. =]

Yeah, I didn't see a lot of my dad because he was trying to get us a good home here and my mom has a much darker complexion than I do. I look absolutely nothing like her and I was like three or four at the time so I didn't know any better, haha.

Yes. As my parents were from different countries. And I looked different from both of them. I was not given much affection from my parents. Even though they loved and cared for me alot. I would be spoiled. But I always had this feeling maybe I am adopted as I hardly used to see them. And my brothers and sisters were not my siblings. But I know now as I see evidence on birth cert.
