Thats a good question. Being a man, I can tell you that yes, there is a difference. Although, my biggest problem is maintaining a 'rock hard' erection as I am only like that right before climax. It seems too much blood rushes to the penis, that the cum comes with it too, haha. An easy way to tell that a guy is rock hard is by looking at it. My dick head is usually much larger and the veins seem a little more pronounced. Pretty much, it looks swollen. Like you can see and feel the blood pulsating to and from the dick. There is a point, just before ejaculation, when it seem or feels to be harder. This may be partly subjective though. I don't know if there is an objective "hardness scale" for the male organ like there is for minerals or metals. My lady has noted this increase in "hardness" prior to ejaculation also, so it is not totally a subjective feeling. I can best describe it as a final buildup in pressure before an explosion. +5 FG
