NASA is spending millions to develop a new rocket to go to the moon. Do you think we need to go back to the moon?

    And beyond yes.

    So eventually some day the Conservatives may have the Earth to themselves and let them poison Earth into non-existence, whilst the rest of us who seek to survive long term can continue to flourish out amongst the stars.

    Absolutely. Going back to the moon would open the probability of further space exploration. It would enable eventual settlement and would also allow us to test various technologies, systems, flight operations and exploration techniques to help reduce the risks and increase the productivity of future missions to Mars and beyond.
