  • to remove it from the carpet place an ice cube on the wax for 3-5 minutes. When brittle, chip off the excess wax with an egg lifter or similar utensil. then place a folded paper towel over the area and hold a warm to medium-heat iron on the towel for a few seconds. when you lift the iron you'll see the paper has absorbed the melted wax. do not move the iron around or you'll spread the wax. several applications with the fresh paper towels are usually necessary....any residual die from colored candles can usually be removed by dabbing with a little rubbing alcohol or paint thinner. (i would figure that it would work for removing wax off walls too.) crayon wax off walls...a little toothpaste on a dry cloth....you can also try a cloth dampened with some lighter fluid. be careful though, its extremely flammable. after all it is lighter fluid....baking soda often does the trick too. source: some cleaning book i found laying around the house.
  • you use a thick towel with a clothes Iron place the old towel over the area w/ the wax to absorb the wax and then press the Clothes Iron on it to melt it.. At least thats what I did to get red candle wax off my carpet and there was a lot of it... and it came up just fine.. anyway thats how I do it..
