Sometimes feelings don't stay the same and you can be left alone. To depend on yourself more than anyone else.

Never wed a drunk, staying in a relationship for the children is not always a good thing, having children can make a man feel like he's less important - because he is essentially driving him further into addiction. And no I'm not QQing by the way, I've come to grips with that, and that's honestly what I learned :)

My dad got Multiples Sclerosos and became quadreplegic. My mom really did stay with him through sickness and health.

That you have to always think of what you do in terms of the group and not to be selfish. A little compromise and sacrifice goes a long way.
