For many folks, reaching the upper stratosphere of AB is like climbing Mt. Everest to plant the flag. It proves (at least to themselves) that they can not only set a goal, but REACH it. They can accomplish somethng that they set out to do, and THAT can give a person a tremendous amount of self-satisfaction, like getting a college degree or finishing a race in first place. Each new level achieved, is one more "blue ribbon" for someone to add to their personal trophy case. +5
