The Answerbag suggestions for how to give useful answers requests that we amplify the answers to make them more useful.
-
I give a yes or no answer as often as possible.
-
I usually amplify. Unless they're doing some kinda survey or something, I personally don't see the interest of answering questions by yes or no. But if that's all they really want, I just tend to not answer them.
-
Try to amplify but sometimes I give one word answers. Depends on question mainly but sometimes my mood.
-
Answer this question with a simple yes or no. "Have you stopped beating your wife?" I hope this exercise has helped answer your question. :-)
-
I would tell them something about my dog, after I answer the question. But some questions only require a yes or no while others seem to need a little more. IMO
-
I usually go into way too much detail, but if I answer on here, I usually delete most of my answer and try and give just the basic information or else I go off on a tangent of all kinds of info (useless or not)
-
I usually amplify the answer. ;-)
