  • I think the imagery enhances the words. The band mentions prayers from when they were young, but society showed them that those prayers were an excercise in futility. The world is harsh and bright, like the sun, and has harsh edges. They are looking for something to wash away the fakeness in society that will blanket it thoroughly, like a good, pounding rain. +5

  • Unwilling to look through the sugar-coating of those out to deceive. Although it should be clear to not only see but to hear that no one seems to care. We are all better off dead. To late for change, No hope for us now. God has turned his back, we are all doomed. No forgiveness - We tried but we failed. No one is listening. We are all better off dead.
