Yes. You shouldn't "fight" for peace, but LIVE it instead.

Yes, it is. Sometimes it is inevitable that it results in a fight. Consider the Vietnam peace protests and the resulting violence. Sometimes you do have to fight for peace in order to help achieve the greater good.

The ironic thing is that fighting for peace draws more attention to what is not wanted,war. Mother Teresa was asked to come to a anti war rally and refused.She said if is was a conference on how to achieve world peace without focusing on the problem of war,she would attend.We should be looking at ways to bring forth peace,and not fighting the ignorance of war.

Now that I look at it. Yeah, it is a paradox. Something that should be universal to all men shouldn't have to be something we fight for. All it does really is create more conflict between men who should be brothers in heart. And really all strife does nothing, but create more conflict and destruction.
