  • Although we correlate the Superman/Clark Kent transformation with the telephone booth, there is really very little backing in the Superman universe to substantiate this. He doesn't use a phone booth in a single episode of "Superman: The Animated Series" or in "The Adventures of Superman" TV series. Superman will continue on, using other uncomfortable places to change.
  • I thought he changed privately anywhere, at least he did in the old cartoon.
  • Funny question +3...since he's faster than a speeding bullet, I suppose he can just strip and change right in front of you and wouldn't even know it. Just like in the pre-movie advertising at drivein theatres, a second of popcorn and you didn't even see it flick by you suddenly crave popcorn.....hmmm, maybe superman shouldn't change in front of you then!
  • This was already resolved humorously in the very first Superman movie. Kent ran up to a "phone booth" which was just a pay phone on a pole. So he just spun around really fast and voila! he changed in the "blur."
  • phonebooths weren't that concieling anyway
