  • For the same reason sighted people turn their heads toward a noise and face it, even though our ears are on the side of our heads. We're using our additional senses to gather feedback from the environment so that we can constantly adjust to it. A deaf person moves in ways that allows them feedback because one of their senses is missing. They're compensating for it. +5
  • Because he is getting into the rhythm, but he is disciplined enough to know that the only thing he is sure of is place he stands. Outside of that spot, is slightly unknown to him until he physically touches it. So he rocks and rolls in one spot. It is safe and still does the job.
  • Because they don't have anything to focus their eyes on to help them stablize. Blindfold you and you'd rock too. Maybe not as noticably at first because you had residual visual memory.
