  • Me, and I was an airline pilot.
  • An artist.
  • I know a lot of people who are basically unemployed. One friend was a millionaire who lost it all and cannot find a job now, he's 70. Another was VP of a major supplier for aircraft parts, he's close to 60 and nobody will hire him because he's over qualified. These men have unlimited knowledge in their fields and could help any business grow yet they are unemployable in our society. No wonder we are in the situation we are. No excuse for men like this to not be able to get a job. One reason our economy is in such bad shape is because people who have the experience and wisdom are set aside and untaped, they have resources of experience and wisdom yet nobody seems to think this is important. It's not only important it's indispensable and yet they are looked down on and disrespected by our society. That's why we are doomed to failure as a society. When you no longer think you need the elders you will repeat all the mistakes they can show how to avoid and you will fail.
