Have you ever told someone something you've learned to be true, and then later have them turn around and tell you the same thing after they've read it in a magazine, seen it on a tv program, etc., as though they never heard it from you first?

    My wife does this a lot. I can say something until I am blue in the face, but if a girlfriend or someone on tv says it it's like gospel.

    Yes - it drives me crazy, especially when you say "I told you the same thing yesterday!", and they look at you like you're completely insane.
