  • It is possible for some prepositions to follow its substantive. These are called postpositive prepositions. An example is "tenus", which means "right up to, as far as": "Capulo tenus" means "up to the hilt" (taken from Allen and Greenough's New Latin Grammar). Otherwise I have not seen any preposition to follow its substantive.
