Will humans ever become "color blind" when it comes to race?

No not unless our whole mentality changes in this country. That will take enough time that our country will by then become homogeneous enough that everybody will be a shade of brown. Being white will be a minority by the end of the century. I hope they as a minority will not receive the same treatment their ancestors handed down to others.

NO mainly because as humans you seem to think that your all the same or some want it to be so and your NOT, each race of man is as different as each race of felines or canines as different as the Chimpanzee is from the new world monkeys and seperated by almost as many eons and as a species your time is almost up and NOT by anything nature has done but by what you as a species is doing and come from the reasons you are doing it and the more you learn the less you know and your actions continue to prove this to be so your at the tipping point, you do know what that is don't you and none of this ever needed to happen ... ~Nemo~

With the intermarriage that is going on today, race will become a non-issue as it becomes more and more common for families to have a whole range of skin tones within their own set of relatives.

It would not matter. If we were all one race, mankind would find another reason to discriminate. Maybe those with freckles against those with freckles. Tall against short. Etc., and so on. Mankind would have to be completely rewired to eliminate bigotry. Racism is just one form of bigotry.
