I would shave it off. Even though I have a full head of hair, I shave it off anyhow. Saves on shampoo. :)

I can answer his one...I was balding twenty years ago and have shaved my head (wet shave every morning) ever since.

I've been shaving my head for over ten years anyway, though the comb-over is due a comeback and I often talked in the past of starting pipe-smoking since it seemed to be dying out, and I thought it would be cool for a bloke in his twenties to stand in a club smoking his pipe, so maybe I could combine the two......

Fancy asking that! In terms of say house constuction they would say "Half a roof off" in my case. They threw me out a disco the other week because someone complained that the laser light show, was reflecting off my head and hurting there eyes! But at least I now get a good discount at the barbers! I said that since I don't have a full covering it will take you less time so I want a discount! grin..
