Is it possible, with doctor guidance for a 16 year old female who weigh's 260 at 5'6 to healthily lose 100 lbs by April 9, 2010? I wanna be 160 (or less) for Junior Prom (in May) at my old High School...

    I'm not the expert, but I would say not.

    April is approximately 35 weeks away, so you'd have to lose around 3lbs per week.

    I've always read that 1 to 2 lbs was the safe amount to lose each week.

    On the bright side, that could be 70 lbs, if you really worked at it.

    I suppose your best bet is to speak to your doctor and see what s/he says.
