Does the fable of Jack and the Beanstalk, embed into childrens' minds that it's wise to grow your own, if you can handle it, rather than to go about things as normal?

    Yarnlady is happy every day

    No, the story isn't about the beanstalk that grew up overnight. It is a lesson about spending money on foolish things, and being greedy. It also teaches that it's OK to steal from people as long as they are different from you (as in too tall, ugly etc.).
