i would imagine, a combination of the quality of the question, and the quality of the answers, regardless of quantity:)))))

It would be the easiest thing in the world for me to flood this site with all kinds of inane questions and useless answers, knowing that points are given regardless of quality. But I don't want to spend my free time that way! Give me some good friends who help steer me towards the more worthwhile questions and I'll actually learn something that way. And occasionally dispense with my own particular share of wisdom. ++++

What are you here for? If it's points and being on the leader board, ask tons of questions and make sure that anybody who can read English can easily answer them. Stuff like "What's your favorite [number, color, name, city, etc.]" and fill in the blank stuff. If you are here to learn and exchange ideas, ask serious questions that you either want to debate or learn from.

I would rather it be for quality. I said it long ago, I could ask hundreds of questions a week if I didn't care about answers, only points and stats on the all-time leader boards.
