I learned a lot about the Blockade in Leningrad, the cannibalism and the massive death rate in that time, that girl that left a nine page diary recording the deaths of all her family members during it, the Purge during Stalin's dictatorship, and the following leaderships and their effects. It was mostly through Wikipedia. Now I feel slightly depressed...
