Dad turtle keeps biting his 2 yr old baby turtle in shoulder area. Any way to stop this without getting rid of one or the other?

This is an average behavior in tortises. A male tortise nips at another tortise to maintan order among a hairum of females and young. And tries to say that he the top male. Tortise hairum usally are form 2 to 5 or 6. This is a nonviolent and nonharmful way of mantaining domince.

seperate them, get a new tank for one of them Its the size difference in them, the big one will bully the smaller
