I'm sure millions of people are. I'm not one of them, yet, thank goodness. I read where it would cost just as much as a nursing home if you kept booking cruises and lived on a cruise ship.

My 88 year old dad passed away in February after a long horrible battle with Alzheimer's. My mom and I took care of him until the end, we didn't want to put him in a home. It was very hard dealing not only with watching my brilliant dad slowly deteriorate in mind and body, but also dealing with my mom's emotions. I had to put my own hurts and heartaches on the back burner. I now look after my mom, she is ok, but needs help in putting her life back together, also with errands and yard work, and that's just the tip of the iceburg. My older brother lives over a thousand miles away, so I don't get much in the way of help from him. My husband and daughter help when they can. It's all been a long hard road, and also a learning experience. Anyone who takes on this responsibility I have the utmost respect for.
