  • In Cold Blood.
  • That would have to be: "The stranger beside me" by Anne Rule (about her friendship with the notorious, serial-killer, Ted Bundy). I just couldn't put that book down, a real "page turner" as they say. No other book has made me feel so many different emotions: i cried at times, felt my blood boil and it had me literally scared out of my wits (shivers down the spine). Not a book to read in the dead of night, i can assure you.
  • It's a few. - 'Helter Skelter' by Vincent Bugliosi, about the Manson Family murders. All time classic, and highly fascinating. I also loved 'The Family' by Ed Sanders, those two go very well together. - 'The stranger beside' me by Anne Rule, about Ted Bundy. Its so interesting to see the 'normal man' behind the killer.. - 'Out of the Shadows' by Anne Marie West, about her life as the daughter of Fred and Rose West who killed several people. Shocking book, first hand (horrible) experience. - 'The Night Stalker' by Philip Carlo, about Richard Ramirez. Very well written and an interesting case.
  • Beyond any doubt it is this: Engineering in history. 1956. http://www.amazon.com/Engineering-History-Roger-S-Kirby/dp/0070347875/ref=tmm_hrd_title_0/181-0103187-3597342 If you don't read this book in the original 1956 edition, it's a crime. My favorite CRIME book was "Jack" - about Jack the Ripper.
