Its not a specific model, but it is a dinosaur because they don't make them anymore. It refers to the cars that were actually made out of metal and not the plastic stuff they use nowdays. The 400HP was a little bigger than stock engine in most of those type metal cars, because they were so heavy that they needed a larger engine to pull the weight, but then a 400 HP engine was a "hot rod" type sports car along with the great speakers for the radio/stereo. Something a teenager (at any age) would crave.
Probably a Mopar with a 440 or 426 hemi. Not that GM or Ford crap.
it cant be a mustang, a mustang never had 400 hp. it might be a 1974 trans am 455 SD. they were the last muscle car. or it could be a chevrolet K-5 blazer with a 6.2L DETROIT deisel. anyways i like to think its just talking about an old chevy. or an old impala with a 409. thoes were made with eather 390 or 425hp. in the late 60's the 427 came in a 365, 390, 400, or 435hp options.
Well the last "True" musclecar detroit pushed out was the Mustang. I hate to say it, because i don't particularly like ford at all, it was the last "Musclecar" to come out of detroit.

You're reading In "What About Now" by Lonestar, what is "the last remaining dinosaur Detroit made"? I know it's a car, but is it about a specific make/model? The song tells us this car has 400hp and great speakers...
