Baby fat is just baby fat. Infants don't really get alot of excercise so all that food and stuff they put in their little tummies "collects" and makes baby fat. Once the babies start to crawl and walk it comes right off. It's kind of like if you just sit around and eat, you gain weight, but get up and move around and you loose it. Same goes with babies.

My son was a real chubster, and our ped. told me not to worry (I wasn't) as it was just baby fat and as soon as he started moving he would lose it. Sure enough, within 2 or 3 mo. of walking, he slimmed right down.

Well I'll probably beat my son to his 21st birthday, not by much, but i still carry alittle baby fat around the swim ring in the winter. But i work out at the gym, so it's not loose change.....;)
