Walking is the best exercise.

Find places to walk that you want to see and go for it. The malls are big here because they are so large and there are a lot of distractions. Do you have some music that you can listen to or a good audio book or something? That helps. Any sport that involves running around like tennis is great and of course, swimming is fun and the best for the entire body.

While watching T.V., during every commercial break, I stand up and march vigorously on the spot.....every break, all evening. Time yourself each break, and you will see that it can add up to quite a chunk of time over an evening (or longer if you are an all day watcher). Climb stairs rather than elevators....and park you car at the far end of the mall, so you have to walk BRISKLY to your destination.

I play with my kids and nieces. We play "Popcorn" on the trampoline, with them laying or sitting and me jumping as hard as I can to make them bounce, we race around the block on bicycles, I taught them how to play kick the can. Lots of other stuff. Playing with them is great exercise and so much fun!

Dancing, rollerblading, and swimming....Doesn't even feel like you're working out.
