Yes, I have. I've ran over a few critters. Not on purpose but its happened. Oh and many, many annoying insects who so deserved what they got.
-
Yes, unfortunately when I was 13 I shot a Bird sitting on a wire, it died instantly and just hung on the wire. I was so scared my parents would see it hanging there, I never shot another Bird after that.
-
yes, any bug that buzzes by me gets it. the mosquito's here are big as birds.
-
yes
-
Yes.
-
Yep. I'll be damned if I eat a roadkill skunk though. Bastards think they're so tough...
-
Yep by accident and on purpose, gotta eat you know and even a fish is an animal, have you ever stepped on a bug ?? while they are classified as insects I think they are also ANIMALS and that in and of itself is KILLING ... Guilt trip anyone ... ~Nemo~
-
Yes. Every time i buy anything, or drive a car, or eat any agricultural product. Thousands of animals died for it. Ever look in a river down stream from a factory. Ever see a field being laser leveled t' plant soybeans. Every single living thing is striped off, an' killed.
-
Yeah many, birds,a dog, coons, possums, probably a snake or 2,all accidents but they still get my goat.
-
Yep, hit a small bird on Saturday with my truck
-
more than you could imagine i spent 15 years of my life on a fur farm ;)
-
yeah fishing, you have to kill the first three you catch unless they're to small=)
-
Yes.
-
I thought my fish was dead but he and well he went down the toilet alive
-
I have indeed
-
Yes.
-
Yes, I have killed insects on purpose and other animals by accident.
-
Yes, I've killed insects found in my home that for whatever reason I was unable or unwilling to trap and bring outdoors (which is my usual response to an insect in my home -- but sometimes in trapping I accidentally injure them, in which case I figure it's best to put them out of their misery; other times I'm too freaked-out to get close enough to trap them, like a huge centipede or cockroach ... thank God I moved out of that place!). Now excuse me if I never check back in this thread again because I'm afraid of what I'll find here.
-
Yes, :-(. I ran over 2 cats at once last month. I couldnt stop the car fast enough. I still feel bad.
-
No, but I have had them use my vehicle to commit suicide!
-
I feel bad even killing spiders and ants. So, only insects. But I feel bad. And when I fish, I always release.
-
i am a lover of all animals and would never intentionally hurt any animal. but i did ACCIDENTALLY run over my neighbors dog several years ago and it took me a really long time to get over that. :( it was very sad. not to mention that my neighbor hated my guts after that. :(
-
Yes.....I have killed birds, snakes, insects (if that's an animal), gophers, and participated in slaughtering our own meat on my grandparents farm....but I won't go into detail...it's nasty
-
Only if you count using fly spray.
-
yes, I am an avid hunter. I hunt Deer every season it's available. Not because I like to kill, but honestly, the primal thrill of the hunt is incredible. I do use 100% of every deer though. I don't let any go to waste. I feed my family as well as my parents and my brother's family with every deer. It costs me about 9 cents a bullet and I can get 200 pounds of meat. I can also sell the deer skin and the bones to craft stores and I get my 9 cents back plus enough to cover the gas and food for my hunting trip. In the end it equates to one bullet and one deer to feed 3 families for no cash cost. Hunting is absolutely worth it.
-
Yes, unfortunately both by myself and with a doctors help
-
On purpose? Only to be humane (putting down injured animals)... I also cut up a toad by accident with the lawn mower... and have never cut the lawn since...
-
Anyone who has ever eaten any meat has killed an animal.
-
There's a big world out there, who hasn't even accidentally? Even our presence is a menace for some living species, ask any biologist. You should have asked if someone has done it willingly, maybe the 'no' answers would be more credible. I have killed regretfully, willingly, negligently and involuntarily. It's an inherent condition in this world, but I'm hopeful I'll free myself from this one day. Take care ;)

Yes, and felt so bad about it. About 3 months after getting my license, me and a friend was going to someone's house one night and on the way there, a possom came out in front of my car and i accidently hit him. I almost started to cry, and he laughed at me, and told me it was alright. I have hit a snake before too, but i don't like them, scared of them...very creepy!

4 - (1) we euthanized my childhood dog when she was 14 and terminally ill. (2) a deer ran directly into the side of my car on the interstate and died. (3) i killed a rabbit driving on the highway. (4) i shot a deer hunting.

I have killed many, I have a small farm. I also hunt and drive. I own a bug zapper and a fly swatter. I use mouse traps when needed. I live in the woods and killing an animal accidently is often a part of life up here, so is killing one for food. Being a farmer it's a way of life, being a driver, it's unavoidable. Killing pests that carry illness and diseases is a must. Sorry it is what it is.
-
billions.ever drive down the road in a lovebug swarm?
-
Not other than bugs and microscopic organisms.
-
I killed a duck by mistake when I was younger. I hadn't figured out yet that you can't pick up ducks by the neck. I was really little. I also used to feed baby mice to a lizard that I had. Circle of life, what can I say?
-
no never have you
-
Many. Every time I buy meat from the store, I am in effect ordering an execution. But ya know what? That's just Nature. It is never wrong to do what we are designed to do.
-
ummmm...lets just say "countless" fish
-
I've killed all kinds of animals, but never for sport.
-
