The Rolling Stones' "Tongue and Lip Design" logo was designed by John Pasche, and first appeared on the 1971 Sticky Fingers album.
wikipedia knows everything. the rest of us are not needed anymore.
Not really sure but it was used when they started their own record label in the early 70's.
