You could connect the VCR to the TV with an RF cord and play it.
Be sure the DVD player is switched off when the VCR is running.
You could operate the controls in the VCR manually as it does not have a remote control.
This is not really a big problem at all.
For a long time after remotes were invented, appliances using them also had a complete control panel, usually hidden under a press-release cover. Have a looks at your VCR to see if there such a cover you can open somewhere.
Or you can get a new remote, A remote from the same VCR producer is likely to work (more or less) on all the VCR models they have.

You're reading I have a vcr without a remote. Is it possible to play it? I also have a dvd hooked up to the same tv. How would I hook up my vcr?
