When you flush the toilet anywhere, do you stand there and wait to make sure it all went down or do you just take your chance and leave?

I usually wait, I hate using a toilet that has milk dudes floating around. Worse yet a turd laying there. ewwwww

I always make sure the bowl is empty. It's a courtesy thing.

Wherever I am, whether at home or away, I wait to make sure EVERYTHING has gone down the drain. It's done out of consideration and respect for others. It is worse than disgusting for anyone to leave anything for the next person to see. The one thing I WILL NOT do, though, is touch the flush handle with my hands! - - I push it with my foot. The public health departments should make self-flushing toilets mandatory in public facilities.

I have to wait to make sure - because if I don't I'll wonder about it for a while after I leave the bathroom.

I stand there and watch to make sure the toilet does not overflow for any reason. I'd rather watch for a minute than have to clean up a mess!

Thanks for that, you just reminded me of my step son. If blocking toilets was in the oylimpics, my step son would be "World champion!" Dale's 24 and lives in Amsterdam. When he came home to live with us for a couple of years, he managed many times to cause problems. One day we invited a heap of friends around for a BBQ. Everyone was having a good time and then my friends husband came over to me and said "Dave, your shitter is blocked and the missus doesn't know what to do about it!" Yes Dale had scored once more!
