  • No, I was born in 1965 and my parents always bought the plastic wrapped cheese at least in the 1970's. These days I don't buy that kind of cheese.
  • No. I didn't start eating that type of cheese until I got married. My wife likes it and it's good for making a quick grilled cheese sandwich in a pinch. But, I prefer "real" cheese.

  • That stuff isn't fit to be called cheese. When I was a kid, late 50's early 60's, my mother bought sliced American cheese in 5 lb. loaves that came in a box that had a replaceable cover.
