Both actually, which is why I lose so much stuff all the time! I can never remember where I put it!!! :P Lost my credit card today...thought it was in my purse, it was actually in the pants I wore last night. Sigh.

Usually a pocket, it's a bad habit. It always stretches my jean pockets!

Both if I am waring an overjacket if not Purse. I never keep things in pants pockets unless I have on fatigue type pants.

I carry back packs or huge messange bags because I carry an unnessicary amount of crap along with me.

Neither. I never put anything in my pockets. I do not have a purse either. I also do not have a wallet :P All these things are not really nescessary to carry around because we pay with a special pass in our country, because of that I never have any cash on me. I only have a shoulderbag, for when I have to take books or things like that with me.
