...I thought some parts were very personal and touching (like the end when his daughter was speaking) Some of the performers were fantastic too - the kid from britains got talent was brilliant.

It was a Good show, I just wonder where all those famous faces were when he was in trouble. His little Girl was very moving but I do not think she should have been in front of the cameras when saying Goodbye to her father.

I thought that it was a touching tribute. The part that got to me was when his daughter broke down and started to cry it hit home that this was a man who was truly loved by his children and they will feel his loss more than anyone.

I agree with Congressman Peter King of NY. http://www.nj.com/entertainment/music/index.ssf/2009/07/peter_king_new_york_rep_calls.html

I did not watch it. I have no feelings on the topic. Yes, he seemed a bit off to me. I do not know if he was guilty of the past allegations. I am not emotional about his passing. I did not attempt to get tickets to the memorial. I believe that I do know some folks who attended the event. I enjoyed his music. I even owned some of his records. I thought he was a brilliant performer. I have no opinions on his personal life... etc... etc... etc... What is this a national freakin' holiday???

Very moving. A fitting tribute to a great man and icon of our times.
