  • I can not see a situation where I would have to make that choice.
  • It depends on the situation entirely. If something bad was happening to my grandchild (or any child that I knew of for that matter) then I would protect him/her as much as I could.
  • A very hard choice, and I'm going to have to agree with both Gingerminx and Nasiswand.
  • I would choose the infant grandchild on the basis that my child was obviously old enough to conceive and give birth so the baby is the most vulnerable party. That and helping my grandchild will, ultimately, help my child.
  • Not a choice I will ever have to make since I lost my child I would have to say no I would choose my own. That is looking at it from outside in the event it every came to that it would of course depend on the situation.
  • I don't have any grandchildren.. and I'm pregnant with my first. So, if it was a life and death situation and Death gave me the choice of letting my child die or my grandchild die... I would choose to save the life of my grandchild because I believe that's what my child would want. If my mother had the choice of letting me die or my baby... I'd want her to save my baby.
  • I'm not a parent, but I'm willing to wager that the grandkids come first. After all, grandchildren and grandparents get along so well because they have a common enemy--the parent!
