It's not just married men. It's all men. They don't expect anything out of it. They just do it to do it. I don't know about the flattered thing. But I also don't understand your being offended. +3

cause married men who do that are on the prowl and have been on the prowl for a good while. some men have a deal with the other half that prowling is acceptable activities. you know look and dont touch.

I am offended when I see a man, who is with another woman (don't know if they are married or not..) and they look you up and down as you walk past. or when their date isn't looking they wink or smile real big.. I think to myself (yes like I would have you) then feel sorry for the lady he is out with. +6

It's a power thing, I think. Sometimes I'm glad I can't understand human behaviors. What's she's offended with, people, are men who want to cheat on people they have exchanged solemn vows with with her.

First, they are tired of who they are with or have no moral character and want to sin by lusting over a woman that is not theirs. Two, they do it for fun to see what kind of reaction they can get from you. Third, they wish they could be married and still play the field.

Married or not, if a man expects you to be flattered he has an ego. But men probably flirt for the same reason women do, because its fun and they want to feel attractive. Some will take it further, but that varies from person to person.

There is nothign wrong with harmless flirting. I have been married for 24 years and most of my friends are guys. We flirt at times and know that it means nothign but being silly and having fun. I am not attracted that way to them nor them to me. There is a difference between flirting and someone hitting on you.
