Sorry, I can't speak to Fios. I used to have DirecTV and hated it. You lose the signal when it's raining? But that's when I watch TV! Eventually got Comcast when I moved to a new apt, and I love it. The DVR is the best feature. And On Demand. Anyway...not too helpful, I know, but I dig it. I also have Comcast internet - never been an issue. In fact, customer service has always been there to pick up the phone even late at night when I lose my connection. (Has always been a router issue on my end and not theirs.) Good luck choosing.
