No, I sure haven't. Would be cool I think. Have you? Good question! +5

yes. I think the only time you can see the ISS with the naked eye is when the shuttle is docked.

No...I go indoors because they might flush the toilet while I'm looking up. +5

I haven't but I have a friend in Tahoo Nevada thats says he can see it with the naked eye

I may have. I've looked up before and it may of been passing at the time. Can a person watch something without seeing it? I am never sure of what I've looked at and never seen or heard but never hear. Sorry - I just don't know. Hope you didn't read this all the way through as it would of been a waste of your time. If I only knew where you lived I could send you some cash to ease my conscience and help pay for your neck brace. +5

I've tried, but the weather never seems to cooperate up here in the great white north.

Yes, the ISS is very bright and easy to see, but it can only be seen when it is dark on the ground and daylight on ISS. This limits it to cyclic periods of visibility every few weeks. It looks like a very bright star, or perhaps an airplane, but it doesn't blink. Check out http://www.heavens-above.com for a customized list for your location of exact times and directions when you can see the ISS. Many other satellites such as the Hubble space telescope can also be easily seen. Watching the Space Shuttle when it is near to docking and undocking with the ISS is very cool too...looks like two stars chasing each other across the sky.
