I cannot give myself away and you know you like the probing.

There are 'enough' of us. You people are interesting. We wonder if and how you're going to survive. As to the probing, that's another race doing that. They're not nice, but they seem to have found 'friends' in your gov't, so there's not much we can do about them now.

Look, do you have any idea how often an ancient spacefaring race comes across another civilization that's more than prokaryotic life, much less a species that went from just another animal to uncovering about 14% of the true nature of the Universe in only 35 millenia? The constants in your Drake's equation are a lot smaller than you think, and even with tangle-drives and duogates, there's a lot of Universe to explore! We need to probe because it takes a long time to understand a completely alien species' hardware, let alone its software. I heard a question posed once: "Why is a soap bubble round?" We need to tread on this planet and learn what we can very, very, VERY carefully, or we might wind up adding more sociological variables than we can account for and predict. And stop blaming us for the dead dry bovine mutilations - that one's got us perplexed too.

Those who do not know themselves, are the easiest to probe. Humans never question their own ethics enough to manipulate and intrude on other life on what they currently think of as "their planet", and yet struggle with others doing it to them. We find this interesting and would hope you do too. Reality is a petri dish for all consciousness. We see earth as a precious resource, a veritable living library of sentient life storing a profoundly important plethora of information. Some of us you refer to as aliens have different agendas. There is as much variation in what you would call ET life as there is in your own kind. The kindest of us are acting on a concern for not only your well being but for the other life you share on the planet. Some aliens who are your great great great grand children from the future are returning to you to assist you in your time of transition, partly to aid you, but also to ensure their own survival in future time-lines. Others of us who are here, are also here to ensure their survival by healing you as a result of a past intervention between their ancesters and yours. In short, you are as much alien to this earth as "we" are, but equally as indigenous. If you doubt that, look around at your species and consider for a moment how you act as if you are joy-riders on this planet, setting up shop, mining, and exploiting earths resources. This is the part of you that did not originate here, but has a deep distant connections to the stars and ourselves from your forgotten history. Fear not however, for you are not alone in these trials throughout the galaxies, and in truth, fearing us is like being afraid of your own reflection. We are in contact with you because we are ultimately related, and how we all conduct ourselves towards each other in this cycle of evolution will not only effect you, but us too for aeonic cycles to come. The kindest of us apologise if we have caused you discomfort, but hope one day you may understand in time. Please be peaceful, and most importantly if you do not wish us here, then all you have to do, is remember who you are and retake responsibility without blame for what appears in uncertain pasts or will happen in uncertain futures.
