My 2005 MX-5 shudders from the rear axle when parallel parking. This only happens when the car is hot. What could be wrong?

You probably have a torsen limited slip rear differential (transfers power from the wheel that slips to the wheel that grips {posi-traction} I have a miata with it and if it gets too dry it gets grabby and shudders when turning sharply). It probably needs new fluid or is low do to a leak. It may also need to be re-built depending on the mileage of the car.
