  • When there comes a point where we can't say ANYTHING without offending someone, it's gets a tad bit ridiculous to me. And I feel that if we can't state our opinion...where's the freedom in that? Of course, I would never go out of my way to hurt someone and I try not to but there's so many rules now they are hard to keep straight.
  • Depends how you define "political correctness". I admit I don't always use the most correct term. For example sometimes I might call a person black instead of african american. I don't know, it depends how offensive you get and who you say it in front of.
  • I believe in political correctness, and I am thinking that some people who may not be very open-minded may not see the need to change their view. After all, ignorance is bliss I've heard.*+++++*
  • I am old fashion and I have a real problem with political correctness, at times. I open doors for ladies, and I say what I think. I always try to be kind and understanding. But, political correctness does not allow a man to notice a woman and comment. It does not allow people to speak clearly and forces people to be more obscure in their speech.
  • Political Correctness is a moving target. And it is used as a club to beat up on anyone not a super liberal. There was a time when 'African Americans' were simply 'colored'. Then they became 'black'. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS! And stop with the thought control nonsense. You sound like Big Brother in 1984.
  • Because people are slowly but surely becoming more evolved and, in unison, becoming less brainwashed, less shallow, and capable of more independent thought, opposed to following the herd in a sheep or lemming like manner.
