  • Bruce Lee, he was excellent in all aspects of battle, he would out-think him, Mike Tyson was just a hunk of muscle that hit hard. Speed will always overcome brute stregnth.
  • Bruce Lee, hands down. Mike would just cry to the press and try to bite somebody. Enter the dragon!
  • Bruce Lee, Tyson is a hard hitter, but Bruce Lee is very skilled and also a very hard hitter who can have Tyson to the ground before he can even make a fist.
  • Mike Tyson he has ring exeperienced and is a hell of a lot bigger & meaner than Bruce Lee. Yes Bruce was an ok Martial Artist who never entered the Full contact arena. Even Bill Wallace, Chuck Norris, Benny Urquidez, & Mirko Crocop among many other fighters would have kicked the shit out of Bruce Lee. And now all the retarded Bruce Lee fans will reply how wrong I am hahaha.
  • I would go with Mike Tyson, he was just too big for Bruce Lee, plus he did actually have real life street fighting experience and a lot of sport fighting experience. Bruce Lee was a good martial artist, but he did not have the same experience as Tyson and when it comes to a street fight experience counts for ALOT!
  • Bruce Lee. Mike Tyson can only box. That doesn't help much if you cannot hit your target, or get a good backkick in the kidney.
  • No disrespect to Lee, but Tyson would win. Lee was a pioneer in the early developing stages of martial arts in the U.S., but Tyson was a real fighter. "As formidable an opponent he was on-screen and off, however, many today don't realize he never competed professionally. Although I believe if he had, he would have been a world champion"- Chuck Norris. In regards to the above responses-"(Lee would have) Tyson to the ground before he can even make a fist": Lee did not know wrestling or groundfighting, it wasnt until around '92 or '93 that “most” Americans began learning Brazilian Jujitsu & ground fighting (other then wrestling) with the early appearance of the UFC. To my knowledge, Lee had limited ground skills. "Mike Tyson was just a hunk of muscle that hit hard. Speed will always overcome brute strength": Tyson just brute strength with no skills? I do not think anyone can become heavyweight champion of the world with just "brute strength". And as for speed, at his prime, Tyson was considered one of, if not thee, fastest & quickest heavyweight ever. What I see is how little regard & knowledge most people have for the "sweet science" of boxing. Footwork, defense, bobbing & weaving, slipping punches, and especially, learning how to fight hurt. Lee did do boxing, but nowhere near a world class level like Tyson. As for my personal experiences, I trained with a fighter with three UFC apearances, and his training was mostly boxing in East LA with the homies to improve his stand-up. Once you have good ground skills, and once you can eliminate getting taken down by having a quick sprawl, a fighter better be able to handle himself standing. Just look at Couture's recent fights, alot of boxing bobbing and weaving and head movement. My two cents are, Lee would not be able to handle the strength and speed of Tyson's combinations. The only chance Lee (or most fighters) could have would be to get Tyson on the ground (too bad he couldn't). In a stand-up battle, Tyson puts Lee to sleep with a vicious left hook.
  • But then again, maybe Lee uses his "one inch punch that could spring a 235 pound opponent 15ft away", right after he uses his "Shinkuu Hadouken" which delivers up to five hits on one fireball.
  • Mike Tyson by a landslide - he's crazy!!!!
  • bruce wins in a street fight, there's something that boxing can't teach you and that is how to kick or grapple, bruce would end a fight in 3 secs, Ali cant, bruce has advance skill in trapping(using ur opponent swings trapping it and countering in the most devastating manner) that is something no boxer will ever learn, and why should they? Their main purpose is to score points and knockouts in a ring.
  • all bruce needs to do is get withing a feet range on a boxer and he's done for, you have no time to unwind and throw a powerful hook in such close quarters, and that's where bruce and his trapping technique is deadly, u can try to keep ur distance or push him away, but u will end up getting outmaneuvered, even if a boxer is able to keep his distance from bruce, which is unlikely, bruce will still be able to throw in some kicks in the mix. In a real fight, there's no way tyson would be able to match up to bruce. I don't care how savage tyson is, u cant take down bruce lee with brute force, and there's been plenty of documented fights or testament to bruce lee's ability, heck even chuck norris said in an interview, that bruce will definitely beat him in a street fight, that coming from the mouth of a karate champ swallowing his pride.
  • It would not even be close, Tyson was a real fighter who was bigger and alot more powerful. Bruce Lee was quick and had alot of respect for boxers calling them some of the toughest street fighters becouse of there killer instinct. Tyson would have overpowered Lee with ease.
  • Lee. Smarter and faster. He can use his hands and feet.
  • Most likely Bruce Lee. Unknown to many people who only say his movies, Lee used to go into bars and pick fights to test his fighting abilities. He also had to fight other Kung Fu gyms in order to allow the "Chinese Secret of Martial Arts" to be taught to Westerners and non-Chinese. He had real fighting experience over long years, unlike Tyson who is a brawler. The weakest point in a boxer is his legs. The legs are trained to be hit or damaged and Tyson did not train for being kicked or kicking even before his (fabulous but brief) boxing career.
  • Bruce Lee Is faster and hits about the same as Mike Tyson and Tyson would knock out Bruce Lee In the boxing ring but then again Bruce Lee would take him out anywhere besides the boxing ring. Bruce Lee would win as he was the Legend as you see here..
  • in a no rules street fight, i'd give it to tyson. just seems as though he'd fight a bit dirtier.. it just depends though, whoever has the longest endurance would win..
  • Bruce Lee, Tyson's style is more brawler than boxer. I doubt he would even land a punch on Bruce Lee
  • Surely Bruce Lee will win because even though Tyson has great strength, Bruce Lee has higher Fighting Skills than Tyson.
  • if lee kan save hiz earz... thn surely lee wud win... :P... peace!!!
  • bruce lee wins, mike tyson lacks the simplist of martial arts technique's which enable a 90 lb woman to beat a 300lb man with little force applied remember shock has immediate effect that allows a secondary fatal blow.
  • I'm gonna go for Bruce, I dont think Mike could land a punch on him.
  • Probably Lee, unless Tyson managed to get on top of him on the ground with his superior weight and strength.
  • Bruce Lee without a doubt. I met Bruce Lee at the LA Auditorium during a Karate Tournament. He did he's one inch punch demonstration. Tyson would not last very long in the ring with him.
  • Probably Lee. By all accounts he would be at an advantage in a no holds barred match. Whereas Tyson would benefit from the rules. Lee would have to move in and take out Tyson quick though. Mike is built like the incredible hulk. His huge muscles would offer some protection- 43" chest, 17"guns and 14" forearms. Lee would not only have to fight Tyson but also avoid being hit. I don't think Lee could withstand too many direct hits. Tyson would dominate him. Lee's best strategy would be to focus on the legs and vunerable areas. Take Tyson out fast. Lee at his peek was 127lbs- 13-15" biceps and 26" inch waist. I think Lee would have a great shot but if Tyson was able to land a few quick blows not sure if Lee could recover quick enough against such a beast.
  • The viewer! What a match. Bruce Lee would definitely dominate in a free style match. Speed and skill are his trademarks. I guess it would come down to how much punishment Tyson could take and if he was able to land a punch. Lee would dominate the first part of the match. If unable to take out Tyson in first 7 rounds, he would be in trouble. The weight and strength difference would give Tyson an edge at that point.
  • Lee. Tyson wouldn't be able to handle the constant shots to the legs and body and wouldn't get near to Bruce Lee with his punches. Add to that Lee can probably grapple up close and bring Tyson to the ground, which Tyson wouldn't be able to handle
  • bruce lee kicks ass
  • Lee's quickness and intellect would be an advantage. He is lightening quick and can strike on point. Focusing on Tyson's legs and pressure points, he'd do some damage. Tyson would have to corner Lee to gain ground. Eventually, he would get a strike in. He is one brutal agressive mf. Once he made contact, he would beat Lee unconcious. Lee couldn't take an agreessive assualt from this guy. Lee would dominate as long as he didn't get hit. Both are great warriors. Would depend on who capitalized first.
  • Man,what an explosive match! I guess you could slice and dice a million ways but here goes. Tyson won 50 matches, 44 KO in his career, 22 in the first round. Made a career of knocking out guys his size or bigger. Weighed in @ 235lbs. Chest: 45in, biceps: 16- 18", forearms 14". I've heard his punches compare to 400lbs. Lee, the kung fu god. Ivented his own fighting style. His speed and ability to strike whereever he chooses are legendary. His wt fluxuated from 165 to 125. The later he choose which increased his acceleration abilities. Stats: 13" biceps, 26" w, 38" c. Lee would definitely come in strong, his speed and acceleration blows would challenge Tyson. Lee would do some damage to Tyson's weakest parts- legs. Tyson's ace would be his endurance. Boxers are trained for endurnace and to take blows- they build up certain body areas to take blows . Tyson's bulk would add some protection- his muscles going hard upon impact would deflect some of Lee's attack. Don't forget, Tyson is agressive as a pit bull in the ring. Lee would be vunerable coming in to strike. Tyson would eventually land a blow- this combined with the gruelling match would take a toll on Lee dimishing the effectiveness of his delivery and speed. Lee would definitely bring it on @ first but Tyson had the ability to endure until he made his move. Don't think Lee could take an agressive assault from this beast. Props to Lee but this one goes to MT
  • BBBBruce Lee.... much faster! Mike has the BIG FIST but it takes him years to swingit...Bruce Lee would puch him like 3 times in tha time he swings for one hit.
